M42 taken with Borg 77EcoThis is a lightly processed multiple exposure of M42, taken with a Borg 76Eco telelscope and Canon 350d camera. In total 5 x 2m30s exposures were take and then stacked with Deep Sky Stacker.
A small amount of curves and levels were then performed in Corel Paint Shop Pro X3.
The image was taken from Kielder campsite, in Nortymebralnd on Sunday 6th Match 2011.
You can see the 'Running Man' nebula just above M42
